We would like you to share any photos that pertain to the civil war (battlefields, buildings, etc.) and especially photos you take during our meetings.
If you want the names, titles, points of interest, etc. to be part of identifying the pictures; please do one attached the photo with the information and list which attachment this applies to in the email.
Keep in mind that this is the world wide web and what is put on the web, stays on the web.
Normally, we will post only the first name and initial of the last name, the same with person who is submitting the picture rather than the full name.
If you want the full name published, then be sure to state this in the email.
Sample: John Doe submits a picture of Jane Doe and Henry Smith for the meeting on November 30 2000, under the picture would be Jane D and Henry S submitted by John D for the Nov 30, 2000 meeting.
WE DO NOT NEED TO PUBLISHED THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE OR WHO SUBMITTED. JUST DON'T SUPPLY THE NAMES.
Currently our only way to send is pictures is through email.
(You can bring the pictures on a "thumbnail" drive and we will return the drive at the next meeting -OR- you can bring a CD with the pictures to the meeting. The last way would be to bring the actual pictures to the meeting and we can scan them and return the pictures at a later meeting.)
If you want your entire name, then you would have to tells us in the email to use your complete name as in the email.
You can copy the above email address and paste it into the "TO" of the email or if you "click" on the above, it should open an email program for you to complete the email.
When attaching the pictures to an email, keep in mind that all mail servers have a limit to the amount of data that can be sent thru email.
The photos will be posted under the "PICTURES & PAST EVENTS" tab. Exception to this is if we have a tab for the site or there is sufficient reason for us to open a new tab. An example is the Wilson's Creek tab.
Please remember that this site is always growing and improving with new information about the civil war. YOUR help will help us provide more information.
