St. Louis 250 anniversary

How often does a city celebrate 250 years.  (Just once!)  St. Louis has turned 250 on February 14, 2014 and we are happy to join the celebration.

This is a year to enjoy!
We normally are all about the Civil War,
but once in awhile, we like to take the time out to have a party!
The 250 anniversary party.

The Story of St. Louis

The Missouri History Museum tells St. Louis' story throughout 2014, from the free 250/250 exhibit opening Feb 14 and  A Great City from the Start symposium co-presented by Les Amis and Yale University.

Monsanto Stands for Service
stl250 is more than a yearlong party: it's a movement designed to leave a legacy. Monsanto has become a part of that movement by sponsoring St. Louis Serves, our volunteerism campaign for 2014. Our goal: 250,000 volunteers performing 1 million hours of service!
Volunteer with us!

If you'd like to really immerse yourself in the stl250 experience, we'd love to have you aboard as a volunteer. Volunteers are our lifeblood: they staff fantastic events, help our office run smoothly and serve as ambassadors to the stl250 program.

No matter what your schedule, we can find a way to get you involved! We host monthly trainings at the Missouri History Museum to get new volunteers up and running.
